Little Italy in Baltimore is known for its wonderful restaurants and bakeries. This neighborhood is only a few blocks northwest of the Marriott.

Things to do in Baltimore:

Go see a movie on one of the 7 screens and enjoy a premium bar and gourmet concessions. The theatre is only a three minute walk from the hotel.

Located at the base of historic Federal Hill, this zany museum is filled with visionary art and is a unique building in and of itself. Tickets are $15.95 for adults and $9.95 for children.

The National Aquarium is located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Basic aquarium admission is $24.95 for adults and $19.95 for children, but check the website for other ticket options.

The Science Center is a museum of science for kids of all ages. It’s located in the Inner Harbor across the water from the National Aquarium. Tickets can be bought on-line.

The Alvin Ailey Dance Company will be performing on Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23rd at 7:30pm at the Lyric Opera House. Call or go on-line for ticket options.

Getting around from Harbor East:

This FREE bus service provides two routes, the Orange and Green, that have a stop in Harbor East. Buses run every ten minutes. For maps and routes, visit the website.

Baltimore Water Taxi www.baltimorewatertaxi.com
The Water taxi has many stops in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The one stop is right outside the Marriott and can take you to the Aquarium, Harbor Place, Science Center, and the American Visionary Arts Museum. Tickets are $10 to ride all day.
