Basic Functions and Responsibilities
The Immediate Past President is an officer of the Association who serves as a member of the Executive Council and performs duties as assigned by the President.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provides assistance to the President during Council meetings.
  2. Serves on the NASFAA Board of Directors.
  3. Chairs the Nominations and Elections Committee.
  4. Responsible for any balloting for any Association action that requires a vote by the membership.
  5. Chairs the Awards Committee.
  6. Chairs the By-Laws Committee.
  7. Serves on the Budget Committee.
Term of Service:
One year following the year as President and commencing at the annual conference.
