Basic Functions and Responsibilities
The Secretary is an officer of the Association and is responsible for developing, distributing, and maintaining the records of the Association.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develops and distributes EASFAA meeting minutes to the EASFAA Executive Council, Committee Chairpersons, and other designated Association members.
  2. Maintains the EASFAA Policy and Procedure Manual.
  3. Prints and distributes EASFAA stationery.
  4. Develops and distributes minutes from the Association's Annual Business meeting at the annual conference.
  5. Responsible for insuring a smooth transition from year to year by documenting computer procedures and training his/her successor. Compiles annual information for archival purposes.
  6. Develops and distributes list of EASFAA Council members with addresses, telephone (both home and work), FAX number, and e-mail.
  7. Serves on the EASFAA Budget Committee.
  8. Maintains the EASFAA Officers' and Council Members' Responsibilities Manual.
  9. Ensures that Council members are notified of Council meeting arrangements along with the agenda.
  10. Performs other functions as assigned by the President.
Term of Service:
Two years commencing with the EASFAA Annual Conference.
