Basic Functions and Responsibilities
The Secretary is an officer of the Association and is responsible for developing, distributing, and maintaining the records of the Association.
- Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and distributes EASFAA meeting minutes to the EASFAA Executive Council, Committee Chairpersons, and other designated Association members.
- Maintains the EASFAA Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Prints and distributes EASFAA stationery.
- Develops and distributes minutes from the Association's Annual Business meeting at the annual conference.
- Responsible for insuring a smooth transition from year to year by documenting computer procedures and training his/her successor. Compiles annual information for archival purposes.
- Develops and distributes list of EASFAA Council members with addresses, telephone (both home and work), FAX number, and e-mail.
- Serves on the EASFAA Budget Committee.
- Maintains the EASFAA Officers' and Council Members' Responsibilities Manual.
- Ensures that Council members are notified of Council meeting arrangements along with the agenda.
- Performs other functions as assigned by the President.
Term of Service:
Two years commencing with the EASFAA Annual Conference.
