Governance
An all-volunteer association offers special challenges while at the
same time providing opportunities for those elected to serve the membership
in a leadership capacity. As the organization matures, EASFAA must
learn from the past and look for new efficient and effective ways to
conduct business.
- GOALS
- To promote and provide leadership opportunities for EASFAA members.
- Improve communication with members.
- Continue to review the effectiveness of our governance structure
and Strategic Plan
- ACTIONS
- Goal 1:
- Through member states, identify and encourage emerging leaders.
- Provide leadership training opportunities.
- Goal 2:
- Use a Communications Task Force to promote timely information.
- Provide monthly "EASFAA update" for state association
newsletters.
- Goal 3:
- Annually review officer responsibility manual.
- Annually review and update the Constitution and By-Laws.
- Monitor, review and report on statues of Strategic Plan.
