DEIB

DEIB is not a singular initiative, but a multidimensional framework that impacts every aspect of our professional community and the students we serve. During the 2025/2026 membership year the DEIB Committee conducted a cross-membership anonymous survey to better understand the make-up, needs, concerns, and perspectives of our diverse membership.

Below you will find the survey's summary findings and key insights

Additionally, a comprehensive calendar has been created that aims to be inclusive of observances spanning the spectrum of cultures, religions, and ethnicities. Reach out to [email protected] if you feel additional observances should be included.

Diversity Mentorship Scholarship

EASFAA is pleased to offer its Diversity Mentorship Scholarship. This program supports professional development by providing one full conference registration and hotel accommodations for the selected recipient(s). All other travel costs remain the responsibility of the attendee.

This scholarship is intended for EASFAA members who:

  • Come from an under‑represented segment within EASFAA, such as a region, institutional type, a demographic or professional context that is historically less represented in Association activities
  • Demonstrate a commitment to broadening participation, access, and engagement within the financial aid profession
  • Agree to continue contributing to EASFAA through service on a committee
  • Secure written supervisor/institutional support for participation in EASFAA activities

The goal of this scholarship is to expand professional engagement across the Association, strengthen leadership pathways, and ensure a myriad of perspectives are represented in EASFAA’s work.
